TrueHealth was a newly-formed division of The Ryan Partnership, one of the largest privately-held marketing firms in the country. Starting from scratch, with zero revenues and zero clients, TrueHealth’s mission was to quickly structure, staff and grow a complete healthcare marketing agency. This meant identifying and pitching prospective clients, positioning the agency, creating a web presence, and providing training and coaching for the executive team.
Working closely with TrueHealth’s leadership, we did all this. Over a period of two years, our work for this firm spanned nearly every aspect of marketing and developing business for this new enterprise. It included:
- Consultation on agency positioning and strategy
- Coaching and training for the agency’s leadership
- Drafting, revision and development of white papers, proposals and Powerpoint decks
- Creation and launch of a quarterly newsletter
- Creation, launch and support for a regular blog
- Development, planning and support for a program of outbound emails, letters and presentations to prospective clients
- Periodic strategic consulting
- Regular, consistent editorial support for a series of white papers, along with articles, emails and any other written materials.
In its first year, TrueHealth significantly exceeded its planned revenue, and regardless of the recession, has been on a consistent trajectory of growth, including such clients as Novartis, Elan Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth and Bayer.
